A Year of Yearning

A lot can happen in one year.

The year, 2020, is one the world would like to soon forget. For many of us, it has been one of loss and heartache. In some way or another, every soul on earth has been touched by the year’s anguish.

The loss of life and livelihood kindled a yearning for former days. ---Days prior to the onslaught of pandemic, politics, and pandemonium. ---Just to hear a laugh or see the smile of a friend became priceless. A longing for harmony to replace the rampant discord seemed to be universal. Perhaps, the phoenix to rise out of this year's ashes will be an appreciation of life’s many blessings which are often overlooked.

VALOR American Home continues to enjoy growth at the love and kindness of its family of supporters. Through this support, fellow Americans have been given employment and those less fortunate helped through VALOR Gives. That has been the mission of this brand from its inception and continues after nearly 6 years. For this, I am most thankful.

As the year 2020 comes to a close, may the yearning for peace and understanding never end. Instead, may such cravings be the seeds for better days.
